 Unless customers instruct me to do otherwise, I always use ROYAL MAIL ‘SPECIAL DELIVERY’ to deliver instruments. This service includes:

 NEXT DAY DELIVERY GUARANTEED BEFORE 1.00 PM

FULL TRACKING AND (USUALLY) SIGNED FOR ON DELIVERY

FULL INSURANCE UP TO A MAXIMUM OF £2,500

* Please be aware that if you read their Terms and Conditions, other UK parcel services offer only minimum insurance on Musical Instruments of between £25 and £100, and some of them offer no cover at all.

** IF YOU WISH TO RECEIVE YOUR ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY ON A SATURDAY, FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO THEMSELVES THE ROYAL MAIL ADDS 20% VAT TO THE CHARGE, WHICH MEANS THAT I HAVE TO CHARGE CUSTOMERS AN EXTRA £6 FOR THIS SERVICE)

I PACK THE INSTRUMENTS SECURELY INSIDE THEIR OWN CASES, AFTER WHICH THEY ARE PACKED INTO A STRONG TRIPLE-LAYERED CARDBOARD BOX.

A FULL RECEIPT IS ALWAYS ENCLOSED INSIDE THE INSTRUMENT CASE
