SAM CHANG Hawaiian Soprano Ukulele (c.1928). Sam Chang was originally employed by the legendary Samuel Kamaka in his small ukulele factory in Honolulu, Hawaii. He reckoned he could make better ukuleles than his employer, so in his spare time he used to make a few and sell them to earn himself some extra money. This is a rare and desirable ukulele in excellent condition. Made of Koa wood throughout. Straight neck and no wear to frets or to fingerboard. No cracks or splits. Original logo on peghead and original tuning pegs. Original maker’s label on back of peghead. Sounds really lovely. NC (EXC) £475.
