SALES POLICY

1. All sales carry a 24-hour approval. A condition of sale is that any returned item is sent back to me at the purchasers expense, fully insured, and by the same means by which it was sent by me. Full refund subject to inspection on return .

Check with me the cost of postage, packing, and insurance that has to be added to the cost of your goods.

3.
Don’t forget to include your Name, Full Postal Address, Post Code (Zip Code), and Telephone Number (including area code) with your payment.

4.
Payments from the UK . I’m afraid that I am unable to use credit or debit cards for payment.

a).
Cheques should be made payable to J. E. Croft and sent to the address beneath the logo at the top of this web page. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 10 DAYS BEFORE DISPATCH. This allows time for me to take your cheque to the Bank, time for your cheque to ‘clear’, time to pack your goods prior to dispatch, and time for the goods to be delivered.

b).
PAYMENT BY ‘PayPal’ is now available. Contact me for details. PLEASE NOTE: in order to recover my costs there will be a surcharge of 5% on the total price if you wish to pay by ‘PayPal’.

All Inland UK parcels are usually sent by ROYAL MAIL SPECIAL DELIVERY which is very quick and includes full insurance cover on the goods. *** Small packets are NOT insured unless specifically requested, and paid for in advance (SEE NOTE 9) .

Payments from ALL OTHER COUNTRIES. I’m afraid that I am unable to use credit or debit cards for payment.

Croft and sent to the address beneath the logo at the top of this web page. Your Bank will probably charge you a fee for making a cheque payable to me in my currency, but my Bank ALSO charges ME a fee for receiving it. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 10 DAYS BEFORE DISPATCH. All International Parcels are sent by AIR MAIL using UPS, FEDEX, or PARCEL FORCE INTERNATIONAL DATAPOST’. These services aren’t cheap, but they are quick, provide full insurance cover on the goods, and offer a very useful ‘tracking’ service. Cheaper services are much slower, they don’t provide full insurance cover, and they have no tracking facility. Smaller packages are sent by the normal AIR MAIL service and are fully insured.

8.
For all countries EXCEPT E.U. COUNTRIES. If you import an instrument into your country from the U.K. you could be charged import duty or other relevant taxes. Check with your local tax office to see whether import tax is payable on used musical instruments. Trade between all E.U. countries is tax exempt.

9. INSURANCE ADVICE and LEGAL DISCLAIMERS.
a). It is the sole responsibility of the PURCHASER to ensure that all purchases are insured against loss or damage that may occur during postage. The VENDOR therefore accepts no liability in these matters.
b). It is the sole responsibility of the OWNER to ensure that any item or items sent to me for APPRAISAL and/or SALE are insured against loss or damage that may occur during postage and during the period that the item or items are in my possesion. I therefore accept no liability in these matters.
